Baby Hand and Footprint Kit with Photo Frame
£20.15
Product Overview
A framed clay keepsake kit for capturing a newborn’s hand or foot print. Press a tiny hand or foot into soft air-dry clay and set it in a white wooden double frame beside a 5×7 photo from the same week. Once the clay dries, it’s a finished piece ready for the shelf.
The kit is made for the early newborn weeks, while hands and feet are still small. The clay panel holds one small hand or one small foot. Nothing is fixed until the clay dries, so you can roll it flat and try again if the first print doesn’t come out as you’d like.
It’s an adult-led kit rather than a toy, and it also takes a dog or cat’s paw print just as well.
Key Features
- Print and photo together: The double frame holds the clay panel alongside a 5×7 photo from the same week.
- Room to try again: The clay stays workable until it dries, so you can roll it flat and retake the print.
- Simple setting process: Knead the clay for 3 to 5 minutes, hold the hand or foot for 20 to 30 seconds, then leave it somewhere cool for at least 8 hours to set. A little baby oil softens firm clay.
- No ink, paint or oven: The clay air-dries, so there’s no mess to clean off skin and no baking step.
- Complete in one box: Includes a hinged wooden double frame, 2 packs of air-dry clay, a rolling pin, double-sided tape and illustrated instructions.
- Works for paws too: A dog or cat’s paw print can be taken in the same way as a baby’s hand or foot.
Suitable For
- New parents capturing a print in the first weeks
- Baby shower gifts and push presents
- First Mother’s Day
- Grandparents looking for a keepsake gift
- Families who want to add a second print when a sibling arrives
The kit contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 3. Adult supervision is required.
Care Information
Once the clay has fully dried, keep the frame out of damp rooms and away from direct sunlight to help the print and photo stay in good condition. Dust the frame with a soft, dry cloth.
